Invernal es el álbum del proyecto argentino, The Empire of the Moon, donde se calzan el atuendo de músicos minimalistas reflejando la grandeza del romance. Es el sonido de la belleza que reemplaza al silencio, mientras los acordes van cambiando lentamente movidos por el piano, y pequeñas figuras musicales se elevan al vacío y retroceden, creando así una especie de pulso oceánico. Todo tiene una apariencia de pátina acuática lejana, voces sin palabras que nos llaman a estrellarnos contra las rocas. Cada pista tiembla en un umbral entre la soledad y la esperanza, el principio y el final, y
cada una está en comunicación con las demás, dragando un sonido vasto y sumergido. Dando al disco un aura melancólica y resonante,
tranquila y sorprendentemente gregaria. Una obra de arte casual y asombrosa al mismo tiempo.

Invernal is an album, recorded by the Argentine project, The Empire of the Moon, where minimalist musicians express the marvels of romance. They lead the listeners on a musical journey, where the sound of beauty replaces silence and the chords evolve as they frolick about the piano, rising and expanding into emptiness and then gently falling away, creating a seductive ebb and flow. Everything is tinged by a distant, aquatic hue and voices with no words that entice us to crash into the rocks. Trembling on the threshold between loneliness and hopefulness, the beginning and the end, the communication between the different tracks feels like a wave of vast and submerged sound. The álbum feels melancholic and resonant, calm and surprisingly gregarious all at once. As a result, a casual yet astonishing work of art unfolds.
